Why Join?
Your membership ensures that we can continue to work to support survivors and eliminate sexual violence in Louisiana! Member dues help fund our prevention programs, community awareness events, training opportunities for professionals that serve survivors, and our legislative advocacy activities. Review the membership options below to find the level that best fits your needs!
Standard Membership Privileges
All memberships include updated information on sexual assault via a 3x per year members only newsletter, training opportunities, access to technical assistance via email, phone, or in person, and a subscription to our monthly newsletter.
Membership Options
Individual ($45), Student ($15):
In addition to the privileges listed above, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, a certificate to get a free coffee, and an awareness ribbon car magnet.
Accredited Sexual Assault Center ($300):
To be recognized as a Member Center an agency must provide a 24-hour crisis line; in-person short-term crisis intervention; information and referral; training of allied professionals; and primary prevention programs. The agency must also be an active member of LaFASA; have a current strategic plan; and comply with the Standards of Service, Ethics, and Training for Sexual Assault Centers. Beginning in 2011, all Sexual Assault Centers in Louisiana must be accredited by LaFASA. In addition to standard membership privileges, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, technical support, permission use LaFASA's logo on the center's website, 2 awareness ribbon car magnets, and 2 complimentary tickets to the annual Denim Day event.
Supportive Non-Profit ($300):
In addition to the standard membership privileges, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, arranged one-on-one virtual trainings or an on-site training day, 2 awareness ribbon car magnets, license to use the LaFASA Member logo, and 2 complimentary tickets to our annual Denim Day event.
College or University ($500):
In addition to the standard membership privileges, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, arranged one-on-one virtual trainings or an on-site training day, 2 awareness ribbon car magnets, license to use the LaFASA Member logo, and 2 complimentary tickets to our annual Denim Day event.
Silver ($500)
In addition to the standard membership privileges, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, one arranged on-site or virtual training, license to use the LaFASA Member logo, 2 awareness ribbon car magnets, and 2 complimentary tickets to our annual Denim Day event.
Gold ($1,000)
In addition to the standard membership privileges, this membership includes free registration for LaFASA sponsored trainings, one arranged on-site or virtual training, license to use the LaFASA Member logo, 4 awareness ribbon car magnets, and a table with 6 complimentary tickets to our annual Denim Day event.
All memberships are pending approval of the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault (LaFASA). LaFASA reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time.
