Red Zone Awareness Ambassador Program

The "Red Zone Awareness" campaign is a recurring LaFASA sponsored awareness event on campuses throughout our state. It occurs the last week of August through the second week of November. During this time ambassadors are asked to disseminate Helpline materials on and around campuses and at student oriented and frequented businesses. Materials include window decals, coasters, posters, and more, as well as sharing social media posts. You will be given materials on or around August 15. Ambassadors are given guidance and recorded volunteer hours (if requested) at the end of the event.

We invite seniors in high school, college students, campus organizations, and sororities and fraternities (especially those who have volunteer and service hour requirements) - anyone who wants to support survivors of sexual assault - to be a Red Zone Awareness Ambassador. GET ON THE LIST! Sign up at this link. Contact Kelli Knight with any questions 225-372-7473 or kelli@lafasa.org
